COVID-19 Campus Closure

Greater Piedmont Adult and Teen Challenge seeks to provide a safe environment for our staff, students and the public that interacts with our Thrift store and ministry.

As a result of Mayor Vaughan's recent Stay-at-Home order for Greensboro, we will close the Thrift Store and Administrative offices at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 27th until April 16th. The only change in that schedule would be from a directive from Mayor Vaughan. Most of the administrative personnel will work from home. We are closing the entire campus to the public.  We do not have anyone sick and we thank God for that.

The students now enrolled in the program will continue their daily activities on campus and the staff who live on campus will be overseeing the day to day program.  We are not allowing any visits from family or friends and no passes will be allowed during this time.

Our outside church speaking engagements will be rescheduled. The Spring Banquet will be rescheduled.

We will not accept new students until April 20th. Wayne will still be available by cell for anyone wanting information about getting into the program. Wayne is developing a waiting list for new students.

Please pray for the health and safety of our students, our staff, board members and all volunteers. Pray for the finances of our ministry. The old song says, "He owns the cattle on a thousand hills, I know that He will care for me (us)."

Thank you and we pray for your health and safety.
